Weekend traffic: REM forces closures throughout network

Now that the Turcot project is nearly completed, work on the Réseau express métropolitain is causing road closures throughout the network. Here’s what to look out for on the Oct. 31-Nov. 1 weekend.
Highway 15
Work on the REM will force the complete closure of Highway 15 North from the end of the Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge to the Turcot Interchange. Cars will be detoured via the Bonaventure Expressway.
Highway 15 South will be closed from Turcot until the Atwater Ave. entrance, from Friday at 10 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
Turcot Interchange
The entrance to the eastbound Ville-Marie Expressway from Pullman Blvd. will be closed from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
Highway 40
Work on a REM overpass will also force the closure of the westbound Highway 40 between Exit 52, for St-Jean Blvd. and the following entrance from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
The eastbound Highway 40 service road will be closed at the exit for Highway 13 and the following entrance Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
Bonaventure Expressway
Another REM overpass being built will force the Champlain Bridge-bound Bonaventure Expressway to be closed from Friday at 9:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
St-Pierre and Angrignon Interchanges
The exit for Route 138 off the eastbound Highway 20 will be closed, and the westbound service road leading to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and Montréal-Toronto Blvds. will be closed from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
